A thoughtfully curated sequence of postures, breathing techniques and meditations designed to unravel the hold of stress, anxiety, depression or trauma. This workshop is founded on a deep understanding about how these disorders affect the body and mind and how the various practices of yoga provide soothing, release and healing. With the support of the profound intelligence of yogic psychology, we can find a moment of healing space, a touch of softness and a flash of freedom from that which ails us.
This practice consists of a gentle flow and restorative yoga practice designed to soothe the areas of the body most affected by stress. Loving adjustments and aromatherapy compliment the warmth of the practice. Throughout the workshop we will rely on calming breathing practices to regulate our nervous system and calm the mind. We will close the practice with a long, deep guided meditation drawing from the deep wisdom of Yoga Nidra.
