About The Event
We will begin our beautiful retreat with a tea and philosophy talk. In this discussion led by Bex and Adrienne, we will awaken to the transformative power that lies within our bodies and within our diets. Inspired by the ancient wisdom of Ayurveda and Yoga, we will learn how to ignite the fire from within, unleash our deepest strength and open to our deepest wisdom. Bex will then show us how to make a nourishing Ayurvedic dish using medicinal herbs and spices, including adaptations you can make for your individual constitution. A shopping list will be sent out in advance so you will have the opportunity to cook-along. Adrienne will then guide you through a yoga practice designed to cultivate a purifying fire from within. We will artfully use the breath and the body in ways that build heat for physical and mental clarification, calling upon the deep wisdom of yogic psychology to explore how the influence of heat supports our practice. This is a practice designed to empower and awaken, allowing you to tap into your deepest strength and open to your clearest vision. Accessible for all levels. At the end of the day we will enjoy a nourishing meal together to ground, connect and reflect.
