About The Event
This pre-bookable 5 week course is designed especially for the post-natal period (from 6 weeks post partrum, though you must seek advice from your midwife or GP if you have any underlying conditions prior to attending the class). The classes are designed to help your body recover from the changes experienced during pregnancy and birth. The exercises incorporated into each class are designed to bring awareness to all areas of your body, but particular attention is paid to your abdominals, glutes, pelvic floor and lower back. You will be encouraged to practice gentle appropriate mobility throughout whilst connecting with your body, encouraging recovery from some of the common conditions of pregnancy such as backache, pelvic pain etc. At the end of each class you will be guided through a beautiful relaxation alone or with your baby. This is an opportunity for you to switch off from everything in a safe and calm environment.
This course is is a fantastic way to attend a classes with your little one, to exercise and meet new mums from the local area. Liz is a specialist Pre and Post Natal teacher, you can be confident you are in safe hands!
The investment for the 5 week course is £55, this fee secures your place on the course and is non transferable. Places are strictly limited as we adhere to current guidelines, we are unable to offer any equipment for use please bring your own mat, we also suggest you bring a cushion/pillow and a blanket for your own comfort and warmth during relaxation and whatever equipment you will need for your little one.
