Francis Perry

Francis has practised yoga for over 20 years. He taught his first class in 2003 after completing his teacher training with David Swenson. After teaching Ashtanga and Hatha yoga for several years,  completed training and teaching of Remedial Yoga with the Yoga For Health Foundation and further training with the British Wheel of Yoga. He studied Level 3 ITEC Anatomy, Physiology and Pathology for complementary therapies, an interest that he has maintained throughout all of his yoga teaching. 

He is a member of the Yoga Alliance as an ERYT Experienced Registered Yoga Teacher and Principle Yoga Teacher Trainer for Banyan Tree Yoga Teacher Training. 

He teachers yoga in a non dogmatic way, using techniques that have all been proven to work. Bringing to yoga, teachings from his physiotherapy teachers, his movement and mobility teachers and anatomy training.   

Francis's yoga classes vary from flowing Vinyasa Yoga to calm and gentle Yin Yoga to Remedial Yoga helping individuals with ailments such as back ache etc. He also teaches a weekly Remedial Yoga and movement session to members of the Merseyside Multiple Scleroses Society. 

Francis says "yoga is none elitist, everyone can practice yoga, it improves our mobility and functionality, it calms our mind, it reduces stress and makes us feel amazing!"
