Trybe Yin classes are designed to create a relaxing and calming atmosphere, blending together aspects of breathwork and meditation whilst guiding you through a series of longer held postures. Each class provides a much needed opportunity to slow down and rest. Yin yoga postures have different names to help evoke a far more gentle quality, from soothing ‘Butterfly’ hip openers to ‘Melting Heart’ backbends. The postures can be held for 2-6 minutes which allows us to specifically target the connective tissues of the body. The vast majority of the shapes we create are seated, kneeling or lying. Yin yoga is suitable for all levels of fitness and no prior experience is needed.
